READ : 'Stolen - A Letter To My Captor' by Lucy Christopher

I have recently read Stolen in one sitting since I find the plot so fascinating.

Stolen is told in the form of a letter from a girl named Gemma to her kidnapper, known as, Ty. Yes, the act of abducting someone and holding them captive is no doubt shameful and wrong, yet here I am trying to somehow sympathize with Ty's ludicrous yet sinful actions and fully insane reasoning for taking Gemma in the first place, indeed this story will bring out a myriad of mixed feelings. Having said that, this is perhaps the reason as to why it is difficult to describe this amazing book without giving anything away. Hence it is better to go in without knowing much and, of course, with an open mind.

I am mesmerised by how Lucy Christoper exceptionally caught my attention (and many other readers);  her descriptions are vivid, allowing readers to visualize what's happening. That is the beauty of Stolen and I recommend everyone to give this book a try.

Rating: 4.5☆

Happy Reading!
